Expressing our love for Christ

I was in the temple the other day when I overheard 2 ladies discussing about marking The Book of Mormon. They were talking about their experience when they marked all the times Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father were mentioned. They talked about how their testimony grew and how amazing it was to see that it was truly another testament of Christ. I did this method of marking on my mission and it wasn't something amazing for me. It was just a way to mark. I was pondering why marking all the references to Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father wasn't anything special to me. Then I realized that it's not my love language.

According to Gary Chapman there are 5 love languages. Gary Chapman wrote,
